CASA APIPICI
tra arte, sartoria e startup

             Studio·TO·DO reinterpreta un classico interno milanese degli anni ’70, trasformandolo in un rifugio molto personale, con una dimensione familiare, lontano dai classici borghesi milanesi. Tra collezioni d’arte moderna, carte da parati, tessuti e merletti, ma anche tanti libri, giocattoli e la volontà del mangiare e bere bene, con gusto e convivialità. Sono queste le richieste venute fuori dalle importanti chiacchierate fatte con i padroni di casa: Alex Pallotti, eclettico startupper, amante e collezionista di arte moderna con gusto e caparbietà, e la sua dolce compagna Caterina, in arte Mis Katen, intrigante e versatile “sarta pop” per donne, mamme e bimbe, che ha fatto della sua casa il proprio showroom. Sulla base di queste chiacchiere e di una  amicizia nata quasi per caso (loro volevano uno specchio per il bagno!),  sono nate le idee per le decorazioni, gli spazi e i mobili su misura; la cucina più funzionale che estetica, il tavolo in ferro di calamina che riesce ad ospitare fino a 16 commensali,  la semplice libreria che è anche dispensa… Uno spazio dove sia facile sentirsi a casa, dove tutte le esigenze della contemporaneità sono state prese in considerazione, dove si può lavorare, ospitare clienti ma anche amici, o giocare con la piccola Amelia e la sua splendida collezione di animali… rigorosamente scalzi!

            Studio ·TO·DO reinterprets a classic Milanese apartment from the ’70s, transforming it into a very personal retreat, with a familiar dimension,  far from the typical Milanese bourgeois.  Among a selected collections of modern art, wallpapers, fabrics and lace, as well as many books, toys and the will to eat and drink well, with taste and conviviality. These are the requests that came out from the big chatting made with future owners: Alex Pallotti, eclectic startupper, lover and collector of modern art with taste and capableness, and his sweety partner Caterina aka Mis Katen, Intriguing and versatile “pop dressmaker” for women, moms and childs, who made the house her own showroom. Based on these tales and a friendship born almost by chance (they wanted a bathroom mirror!), ideas for decorations, spaces and furniture were born; the “more functional then aesthetic” kitchen, the calamina table that can accommodate up to 16 diners, the simple bookcase that is also a food dispenser… A place where it is easy to feel at home. Where all the needs of contemporaneity have been taken into account. Where you can also work, live, host customers,  and also friends, or simply play with Amelia and her wonderful animal collection… strictly barefoot!
